Thursday September 25, 2008 is the last Shimmy on the Hudson event for the season. This show will feature the NY empress bellydancer Yasmine Lily who is a featured professional dancer who performs at the top middle-eastern night clubs throughout the tri-state area. This night will also showcase Elektra the host/dance producer and house dancer of the event . The lovely co-producer Sahazha will perform tribal style bellydance and Erika Veils (co-director of the show) will grace the evening with magestic dancing. Also note: a special guest appearance by burlesque dancer Jasmine Blushes. There is no show like this one and there won't be again for a long while so mark your calendar. Details about the Bellydance Cruise: Manhattan cruise will include Hookah, cash bar & buffet, tarot reading, henna artists a live band and of course bellydancing. NYC's only bellydance cruise "Shimmy on the Hudson" is launching again for another round. This upcoming Thursday September 11, 2008 will feature the famous Layla Isis and the Native New York bellydance duet Rakyourbelly (Elektra & Sahazha).

The Spectacular Layla Isis performs all over NYC top venues. In 2004, she was a desert rose dancer and toured internationally with the Bellydance Superstars. Now you can see her perform on the NYC only Bellydance cruise "Shimmy on the Hudson" along with Elektra & Sahazha as the duet Rakyourbelly.

What the cruise will include:

A line up of unbelievable performances scheduled to enchant the summer nights in NYC. The boat will travel all around Manhattan. Enjoy two floors of dancing (top deck DJ Derajja spinning a hot mix of Middle Eastern Music / Lower deck DJ Marcus Ho spins today's hotest top 40 Jams). There will be a cash bar, buffet, Tarot reading, Henna artists, Hookah and ofcourse amazing belly dancing.
